Dear Gymnastics Supporters,
As you may have heard the IHSA is contemplating eliminating all sports with less than 10 percent participation by all member schoosl . This Includes gymnastics for girls and boys. One of the factors that may sway them is enthusiastic support by the community.
This weekend on Feburary 21st and 22nd is the state meet and we would like to invite all of the gymnastic community to enjoy an exciting competition at Palatine High School. Friday afternoon will be Prelims starting @ 2 pm with 8 teams and all of the top individuals from every conference. Saturday @ 2 pm will be finals with the top 10 routines on every event. Team and individual awards will be presented Saturday evening along with the high school coach of the year and gymnast of the year.

They cost $10 each day.

If each of the clubs that train high school age gymnasts sends this email to their families we may be able to increase the number of people at the state meet and help eliminate the $20,000 Deficit that the IHSA incurred last year. Please help us publicize the event and save this important opportunity for our gymnasts.
